Shane A. Romines, Attorney at Law

Attorney Shane Romines is a native of Corbin, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Corbin High School. Following high school, he attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington and studied Political Science. With a zest for politics, Attorney Romines excelled as an undergraduate student and then turned his sights toward law school. Attorney Romines attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor. During his three years of law school, he clerked with the firm of Clark, Ward & Cave (now Clark & Ward), where he quickly learned the trade of insurance defense. Upon passage of the Kentucky Bar Exam, Mr. Romines continued with Clark & Ward until May of 2003, working on such cases as sexual harassment defense, products liability defense, personal injury defense, and employment law defense. Attorney Shane Allen Romines also began accepting personal injury cases as a Plaintiff's attorney.

Attorney Romines decided to return to his home town of Corbin in May of 2003. He opened the Romines Law Office, PLLC. on June 9, 2003 and began accepting cases in the areas of personal injury, estate planning (wills & trusts), divorce and family law (custody, adoption, guardianship), land disputes, bankruptcy, and workers' compensation. The Romines Law Office enjoyed immediate success and grew rapidly over the next two months. In August, 2003, Attorney Shane Romines acted quickly in acquiring the services of Martha Farmer Copeland, an experienced and well-respected personal injury and family law attorney. Attorney Romines dissolved the Romines Law Office on August 31, 2003, and, along with Mrs. Copeland, created the firm of Copeland & Romines Law Office, PLLC. Mr. Romines continues to focus his practice in the areas of personal injury (Automobile accidents, slip & falls and wrongful death), and workers' compensation. If you're in pain, call Shane.
